'What comes out of the sludge?' original mixed media illustration

This acrylic and ink illustration of a purple beetle with some cute plants coming up out of a dark, sludgy hole was inspired by some thoughts on mental health and wellbeing. I've had a rough time lately, but I've learned some lessons and come out stronger. Every experience builds character and no matter the nature of your experience you can always get something out. So what comes out of your sludge?
