'Minimus Small' small art print (A5 or A6)
This illustration of a rhino beetle named Minimus Small was created as part of the conceptualisation of my graphic novel. Although Minimus Small does not feature in the story, he is the great great great grandfather of the main character Leah. Grandfather Small fought bravely against the wasps in the Sky Wars of 1889. He's where Leah gets her fighting spirit from. If you'd like to know more about Leah and my novel, you can read about it here: The Adventures of Apparently-Anyone-Can-Do-It-If-They-Just-Try Bug!
All the art prints for sale in my shop are inspired by my love of nature. I love the idea that in small spaces or in built up cities art gives us the chance to see the beauty of the natural world everyday. Line art and ink illustrations are such a pure and quick way to capture that! I love to paint and draw fauna and flora and I love finding indigenous South African plants and critters that spark my creativity. I try to reflect the magic and beauty I find my environment in the hopes that these artworks may serve as inspiration for you to find the magic in your life.
Wall art adds an element of interest to any space. This print could be the next decor item for your bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen or study.
